This section is for use with a parachute. You can use different
types of chute, X-Form, circular or parafoil and you can find
plans for them on the internet.

The easiest to make is from a plastic bin liner and some
nylon/polyester cord.

You can: tape the cords to the chute with a bit of duct tape -
tying a knot in the cord so that the tape has something to hold
onto; or, you can tie the chord to the edge of the chute by
pinching the edge and tying the cord around that.

With a polyester sheet as the parachute, you can sew the ends
of the chord onto the edge of the chute.
